LIBRARY AND READING ROOM
Filled with more than 3.500 books and a low vision viewer, residents
can rest and read in this richly appointed area, check books out
to read at a later time.
THEATRE-STYLE AUDITORIUM
Time with your peers is important. Enjoy movies on a large-screen
cable TV, bingo, seated volleyball, musical performances, informational
and educational programs plus so much more in the comfort of our
auditorium.
EXERCISE
Exercise is essential to maintaining a healthy mind, body and spirit.
For that reason, we not only offer sit-down aerobics in the auditoriums,
but aqua-aerobics in our pools and spas. An exercise room featuring
treadmills, stationary bikes and other equipment is also available.
 MULTI-DENOMINATIONAL
CHAPEL SERVICES
Bayou Manor and the Hallmark were founded by Brazos Presbyterian
Homes and a Christian environment is important to us. For that reason,
we host resident organized Bible study classes on Wednesday and
multi-denominational chapel services on Sunday.
THE DINING EXPERIENCE
You won't find any buffets here. Our dining rooms are restaurant
style seating. Menus are prepared by a Registered Dietitian and
change with each meal. Special diets can even be accommodated. If
you wish to entertain friends or family, private dining facilities
are available. You can have your function catered by our gracious
staff or cook or bring your own meal.
SOCIAL OUTINGS
Whether it's the ballet, opera, the theatre or ball games, we'll
take you there. Our van service makes scheduled trips to the Medical
Center, grocery stores, the Houston Eye Clinic, social outings and
private physicians.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
What's your pleasure? At Brazos Presbyterian Homes, we believe
that activity is essential for physical as well as cognitive well
being. Arts & crafts, woodworking, stained glass, billiards
& ceramics are just a few of the pastimes that you can enjoy.
Bayou Manor offers a Greenhouse & Picnic pavilion complete with
Bar-B-Q.
